Healing from Childhood Trauma & Adult Anxiety — On Your Schedule
Specialized virtual therapy for high-achieving adults across Alberta who grew up walking on eggshells. Heal from childhood trauma, reconnect with your sense of self, and create healthier relationships through secure online therapy with a Registered Psychologist. Evening and weekend appointments available.
Did You Spend Your Childhood Managing a Parent’s Moods?
If you were raised by a parent struggling with a mental illness, addiction, or severe emotional instability, you quickly learned how to survive by becoming hyper-vigilant. You became an expert at reading the room, predicting unpredictable outbursts, and putting your own emotional needs aside just to keep the peace.
Today, that childhood survival mode doesn’t disappear—it evolves. In adulthood, it frequently shows up as chronic anxiety, perfectionism, intense guilt, and boundaries that feel impossible to maintain. You might look highly successful, driven, and perfectly put-together to other people, but on the inside, you feel exhausted from constantly being on alert
Your childhood shaped more than your stress response—it influenced how you see yourself, relate to others, and respond when life becomes overwhelming. Therapy isn't about "just relaxing." It's about understanding these patterns, healing old wounds, and developing new ways of relating to yourself and the people around you.
Are You Navigating the Empty Space After a Divorce?
A divorce or relationship breakdown doesn't just end a relationship—it can leave you questioning who you are. For many people, the end of a relationship doesn't create these wounds—it exposes patterns that began much earlier in life. If you spent years adapting to a partner, managing high-conflict family dynamics, or hiding your own needs, walking away can leave you feeling completely lost, anxious, and empty on the inside.
I specialize in post-separation identity reconstruction, helping you reconnect who you actually are independent of your past relationship. Together, we'll process the loss, rebuild your sense of self, and create a future that feels authentic rather than simply different.
Specialized Expertise in Childhood Trauma & Relationship Transitions
As a Registered Psychologist, my clinical work and published Master's research have focused on the lifelong impact of growing up with a parent experiencing mental illness.
My work explores how early family experiences continue to influence adult relationships, boundaries, anxiety, and sense of self. Together, we'll understand these patterns and use evidence-based approaches to help you heal from the past while navigating the challenges you're facing today.
We will work together online using structured, practical tools to heal from unresolved trauma, reduce your daily panic or burnout, and teach you how to set guilt-free boundaries in your professional and personal life. You spent the first half of your life taking care of everyone else. This is your opportunity to invest in your own healing and rebuild your sense of self.

Your Healing Shouldn't Conflict with Your Career
Many high-achieving professionals, busy commuters, and shift workers delay therapy because taking time away from work feels impossible, or they simply don't have the energy for another commute at the end of the day.
Therapy should fit into your life—not compete with it. Whether you live in Calgary, Fort McMurray, Grande Prairie, or another community across Alberta, you can access specialized trauma therapy from the privacy of your home. My online practice is available exclusively during evenings and weekends, making it easier to prioritize your mental health without rearranging your workday.
