Do You offer a free 15-minute consultation call?
No. I do not offer complimentary consultation calls.
My website is designed to give you a clear understanding of who I work with, my approach to therapy, and my areas of specialization so you can decide whether we're a good fit before booking. If you feel my approach aligns with your needs, you're welcome to book an initial 50-minute assessment through my secure online booking system.
Do you offer direct billing?
I do not offer direct billing. My practice operates on a private-pay basis, and payment is securely processed through Jane App at the end of each session.
Will my insurace cover therapy?
Yes, in most cases. Because I am a Registered Psychologist, my services are covered under the majority of Canadian extended health benefit plans (such as Sun Life, Canada Life, Alberta Blue Cross, Manulife, etc.). Immediately after your session is paid and processed, Jane App will automatically email you an official psychological receipt containing my active provincial registration numbers. You can instantly upload this PDF receipt to your insurance provider's mobile app or portal.
How do online therapy sessions work?
Sessions take place through Jane App's secure video platform. Before your appointment, you'll receive an email with a private link. Simply click the link at your appointment time—there's no software to install.
Can I book Outside Alberta and Ontario?
At this time, I can provide therapy only to clients who are physically located in Alberta or Ontario during their appointment because psychologists are licensed on a provincial basis.
Are psychological fees tax-deductible?
Services provided by Registered Psychologists are GST/HST exempt and may qualify as eligible medical expenses for income tax purposes.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee.
